I. IMMIGRANT VISA
A. Quota Immigrant Visa
Granted to foreign nationals, not more than fifty (50) slots, given on the basis of reciprocity to citizens of countries where Philippines has foreign relations, including stateless persons, based on certain conditions or qualifications, granted in order of preference
B. Non-Quota Immigrant Visas
B.1. 13A (non-quota immigrant visa by marriage)
- Issued to a foreign national on the basis of his/her valid marriage to a Philippine citizen and available only to those whose countries have existing reciprocity agreements with the Philippines or countries who likewise grant permanent residence and immigration privileges to Filipinos under Foreign Service Circular No. 21-10.

II. NON-IMMIGRANT VISAS
A. 9A – Temporary Visitor’s Visa
- Issued where the stay of the foreigner is intended solely for the purpose of leisurely stay in the Philippines
- Where the purpose of the temporary stay of the foreigner is to prospect for areas of investment: i.e. attending international conferences or who are in the Philippines to negotiate contracts, educational or business meetings, convocations or conventions and the like
B. 9B – Transit Visa
- In transit to a destination outside of the Philippines
C. 9F – Student Visa
- Visa for a foreign student, at least 18 years of age, who intends to take up a course higher than high school; school must be accredited to receive foreign students
D. 9G – Pre-Arranged Employment Visa
D.1. Commercial
- Granted to foreign nationals seeking work or employment in the country
- Applicants are required to secure AEP from DOLE as provided for in Sec. 40 of the Labor Code
D.2. Non-commercial
- Includes religious, charitable, rehabilitation and/or social work (missionary)
- Need to show bona fide membership in an educational or religious organization in the Philippines
III. TEMPORARY RESIDENT VISA

IV. SPECIAL RESIDENT VISA
1. Special Retiree Resident Visa (SRRV)
- A foreign national 35 years old and above, who must open a US dollar time deposit for a term of 6 months in the amount of $75,000 (for 35 to 49 years old) and $50,000 (for 50 years old and above)
- Issued upon endorsement of the Philippine Retirement Authority under Executive Order No. 1037
2. Special Investor’s Resident Visa (SIRV)
- Available to aliens who are at least 21 years old and who would invest in some viable economic activities and tourist-related projects and establishments
- Issued upon endorsement of the Board of Investments pursuant to Book V of the Omnibus Investment Code of 1987 (Executive Order No. 226)
V. SPECIAL NON-IMMIGRANT VISAS
A. 47 A2 Visa
- Available to those who will be employed under the public interest category which includes those involved in power generation, reforestation, special technical and academic exchange programs and industry
- Granted by the Secretary of Justice
B. Special Visa for Employment Generation (SVEG)
- A visa for foreign national who shall actually employ at least ten (10) Filipinos in a lawful and sustainable enterprise, trade or industry
C. Special Employment Visa for Offshore Banking Unit under PD 1034
D. Special Non-Immigrant Visa under E.O. 226
